About Lori Stott
Another Life Adventure!
In some ways, BreatheWriteConnect birthed itself. In the middle of my life.
Naturally, organically, and without a lot of pressure or stress.

I've been a yoga practitioner and a writer for
most of my life, and a relational person for all of my days. After a long, sweet professional career in the nonprofit sector, teaching and writing feels
like a natural extension to be of service.

I deeply LOVE teaching and connecting people with the power of Himalayan breathwork and kriya; sharing words and stories:
and utilizing life lessons I've gained--
not only through some truly hard stuff (trauma, loss, addiction, depression)
but also TONS of recovery, love, adventure, HOPE and perhaps most importantly...HUMOR.

My super power is being AUTHENTIC. I'll invite you to do the same.
My breathwork classes and individual sessions--like me--are open, kind and straight-forward. I like to explain just a bit about each technique so you'll gain knowledge of ALL of the benefits and you can practice on your own.

My Scottish gram taught me yoga postures at age 6: I've now been a practitioner for many decades.
It's a LIFE-LONG LOVE.
I've been trained by the best in the world: Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India
led by Master Anand Mehrotra (500-hour YTT).

Sattva yoga is an integrated holistic approach to yoga
which includes elements such as pranayama (breathwork),
kriya (evolutionary action), mudra (gestures), mantra (sound),
asana (physical postures) and most importantly, meditation.
The practice is both activating and calming, detoxifying and uplifting.
It's unlike any other practice that I know of, anywhere.
I LOVE to share these powerful practices with others, as there are SO MANY BENEFITS to gain!

In regards to writing, I've been a writer since age 13. Journaling since then, I wrote and self-published one book, essays, blogs and am currently working on a collection of travel stories to publish in 2025.
Writing is another of my greatest passions,
and something I love to continually learn, write, talk about and facilitate for others. I especially enjoy working with people who "never" write, but want to.
BWC prompts work for writers of ALL levels.
Through classes and workshops, we will share:

the SCIENCE and GRACE of breathwork,

HEALING POWER of writing,

and LOVE AND MAGIC that can happen community (even on Zoom!)
All are welcome. Come as you are.
