Another Life Adventure
In some ways, BreatheWriteConnect birthed itself.
Naturally, organically, and without a lot of pressure or stress.
Was it meant to happen? Is this dharma?
The fact that I've been a writer, yoga practitioner,
and a relational person for most of my life probably added to this mixture of midlife magic.
I love this life that has opened up here in the middle! Sharing words and stories;
connecting people with the power of Himalayan breathwork and kriya;
and utilizing life lessons I've gained--
not only through some trauma, grief, and depression--
but also tons of recovery, adventure, hope, and laughter.
My super power is being authentic. I invite you to get real, too.
After all, what do we have to lose, really? And SO much to gain.
I've been a yoga practitioner for decades. It is one of my great loves.
I continue to be trained at Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India
led by Master Anand Mehrotra.
In July 2023, I will achieve a 500-hour Teacher Training Certificate.
Sattva yoga is an integrated holistic approach to yoga
which includes elements such as pranayama (breathwork),
kriya (action), mudra (gestures), mantra (sound),
asana (physical postures) and most importantly, meditation. The practice is both activating and calming, detoxifying and uplifting, and for me, life-changing. I LOVE to share what I know and what I continue to learn.
I've been a writer since age 13. Journaling since then, I wrote one book, lots of blogs and
have about three books in me. Writing is one of my greatest passions,
and something I love to continually learn and talk about.
BWC prompts are thought-provoking for writers of ALL levels.
Through classes and workshops, we will share:
the POWER and GENTLE GRACE of breathwork,
HEALING POWER of writing,
and LOVE AND MAGIC in community
All are welcome. Come as you are.
